Have the children create the number using playdough or kinetic sand. Then have them make rectangles to resemble the bricks and place it on the playdough mat to create pyramids.
Alternatively, use these playdough mats as building mats. Have the children count out the correct amount of lego pieces or kapla blocks it says on the mat. Then have them try to recreate the pyramid using the pieces. Have the child start with counting the bricks on the bottom layer of the pyramid and placing the correct number of pieces. Show the children have every layer needs to have one less block than the layer on the bottom.
